Anoma Foundation Raises $2.5M Community Round to Support Anoma’s Mainnet Go-To-Market Activities

The raise was conducted on crypto private fundraising platform Echo.xyz, in two rounds with community backers, with the funds intended to support Anoma’s fast-approaching mainnet launch

Zug, Switzerland, January 30, 2025 - Anoma Foundation is thrilled to announce the successful closure of a $2.5M community-driven fundraising round, led by Native Crypto and CMS Holdings. The raise, conducted in 2 rounds on Echo, saw participation from nearly 900 backers. The first round, which hit its cap within 18 seconds, had an average ticket price of $2.9k for a total of $1.5M. The second round had an average ticket price of $2.7k for a total of $1M.

This community round underscores the growing industry demand for Anoma’s generalized intent infrastructure as a cornerstone ensuring blockchain’s next generation is scalable and user-friendly. The funds will drive Anoma’s go-to-market activities and expedite its journey toward mainnet launch.

Anoma Foundation previously completed three fundraising rounds in 2020, 2021, and 2023 respectively. These were led by Polychain Capital and CMCC Global, with the participation of Electric Capital, Delphi Digital, Coinbase Ventures, P2P Capital, Figment, ZKV, Maven 11, Chorus One, Lemniscap, CMS, Wicklow Capital, Informal Systems, the Interchain Foundation, Dialectic, and more.

This milestone follows Anoma’s recent debut on devnet, where it unveiled the blockchain industry’s first intent-centric distributed operating system. Designed to integrate the multichain Web3 ecosystem into a unified development environment, Anoma’s path to mainnet will empower developers to create applications that bridge Web3 functionality with Web2 simplicity and AI-driven automation. The result: unprecedented user experiences, seamless multichain interoperability, and a new paradigm for decentralized app development.

Intents revolutionize blockchain interactions by focusing on user outcomes rather than technical steps. Users can specify their goals—such as exchanging token A for token B—without needing to understand blockchain infrastructure, wallets, or bridges. By abstracting away complexity, intents reduce friction and eliminate bottlenecks, allowing for almost limitless scalability. Developers, in turn, can create applications that align seamlessly with user needs while enabling AI agents to operate effectively within the blockchain ecosystem.

Anoma is currently in the process of rolling out its roadmap to mainnet, having recently announced the first cohort of teams building on a private devnet. This phase will be followed by a testnet phase, during which users can begin interacting with the first testnet applications. During its mainnet phase, Anoma will roll out support for the Ethereum ecosystem, with additional ecosystems to follow.
